ISA SpecEng's AI Doors division designs and installs intelligent access control systems that redefine how properties are secured and managed. Moving beyond traditional locks and key fobs, our AI-powered door systems integrate cutting-edge biometric authentication, facial recognition, fingerprint scanning, and mobile app-based access into a unified platform — giving property owners and businesses granular control over who enters, when, and under what conditions.
Our solutions are engineered for both residential and commercial applications, from smart homes and luxury apartments to corporate offices, data centres, and multi-site facilities. Each system is custom-designed around the specific access requirements of the property, with full integration into existing building management systems, CCTV networks, and intruder alarm infrastructure. All installations are carried out by our specialist engineers, with remote commissioning, diagnostics, and firmware updates managed through our secure cloud platform.
The result is a property access ecosystem that is not only significantly more secure than conventional systems, but also more convenient for authorised users and fully auditable for compliance purposes. ISA SpecEng AI Doors delivers enterprise-grade physical security with the intelligence and usability that modern buildings demand.
Site Survey & Access Audit
Our engineers conduct a detailed on-site survey of all access points, reviewing existing security infrastructure, identifying vulnerabilities, and mapping the specific access control requirements for each area of the property. A comprehensive system design is then produced and presented for approval.
System Design & Specification
We produce a full technical specification for the AI access control system, selecting the appropriate hardware — biometric readers, facial recognition cameras, smart locks, and control panels — and designing the integration with existing building systems. All specifications are reviewed and signed off by the client before procurement.
Hardware Installation
Our specialist engineers install all access control hardware including smart door locks, biometric terminals, facial recognition cameras, intercoms, and control panels. All cabling is routed discreetly, and the installation is completed with minimal disruption to the property and its occupants.
AI Configuration & Enrolment
We configure the AI platform, train facial recognition models with authorised user profiles, enrol biometric credentials, and set up access schedules, permissions hierarchies, and alert rules. The system is fully tested across all access scenarios before handover.
Handover, Training & Ongoing Support
We provide full user training for administrators and end-users, comprehensive system documentation, and access to our remote support and monitoring service. Firmware updates, AI model improvements, and system health checks are managed proactively throughout your support contract.
Multi-Modal Authentication
Our systems support facial recognition, fingerprint scanning, PIN codes, smart cards, and mobile app access — giving you the flexibility to deploy the right authentication method for each access point and user group.
Full Audit Trail & Reporting
Every access event is logged with timestamp, user identity, and entry point — providing a complete, tamper-proof audit trail for compliance, insurance, and security investigation purposes, accessible via our cloud management portal.
Seamless System Integration
Our AI door systems integrate natively with CCTV platforms, intruder alarms, building management systems, and visitor management software — creating a unified security ecosystem rather than a collection of disconnected devices.
Remote Management & Updates
System administrators can manage user permissions, access schedules, and security settings remotely via our secure cloud portal. AI model updates and firmware patches are deployed remotely, keeping your system current without requiring on-site engineer visits.
Residential & Commercial Grade
Whether securing a private residence, a luxury apartment complex, or a multi-site commercial facility, our systems are engineered to the same exacting standards — scalable from a single smart door to an enterprise-wide access control deployment.

Request a QuoteHow accurate is the facial recognition system?
Our facial recognition systems operate at 99.7%+ accuracy under controlled lighting conditions, with liveness detection built in to prevent spoofing via photographs or video. The AI model is trained on enrolment profiles and continuously refined over time — performance improves the more the system is used by authorised users.
Can AI Doors be installed in existing properties without major works?
In most cases, yes. Our systems are designed to retrofit onto standard door frames with minimal structural modification. For properties where cabling would be intrusive, we offer wireless and battery-powered options for specific hardware components. Our engineers assess installation feasibility during the site survey and advise accordingly before any work begins.
What happens if the system loses power or internet connectivity?
Our systems include local processing capability so access control continues to function during internet outages — authorised credentials remain valid and doors operate normally. In the event of a power failure, all smart locks default to a configurable fail-safe or fail-secure state as determined during the design phase, and battery backup units are available for critical access points.
Is biometric data stored securely and in compliance with GDPR?
Yes. All biometric data is encrypted at rest and in transit, processed on-device where possible to minimise data exposure, and stored in compliance with UK GDPR requirements. We provide a full data processing agreement and can advise on your obligations as a data controller when deploying biometric access systems. Biometric profiles can be deleted immediately upon request.
